Fergus Reen joined Kernel Capital in November 2010 as a Financial Accountant. He has a first-class honours degree in accountancy from University College Cork. He is responsible for all internal financial accounts and participates in the due diligence of prospective investees where appropriate.
He commenced his finance career in 2003 with KPMG with whom he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. During his time with KPMG he worked on a wide-range of both indigenous and NASDAQ-quoted multinational clients. In 2008 he continued his work in private practice when he joined a mid-tier local accountancy firm while continuing his education with the Irish Taxation Institute.
