Kernel Capital announces Padraic White
as Investment Committee Chairman of The Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund
Dublin, Ireland - 3 December 2009.
Kernel Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Padraic White as chairman of the Investment
Committee of its newly launched Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund.
The €26m Fund will invest in start-up and early stage companies with investments in the range of
€100,000 to €500,000.
Mr. White is the former Managing Director of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA-Ireland) and has
a strong interest in indigenous enterprises chairing a diverse array of SMEs in wind energy, smokeless
fuel, solar cells, radio, recruitment and accredited certification. He is a Director of a number of financial
services companies such as Willis Risk Services Ltd. (Ireland); London Life & General Re-insurance Ltd.
(Ireland) and Canada Life International Ltd. (Ireland) He is chairman of the Enterprise Council of West
Belfast and Greater Shankill and of the Louth Economic Forum.
